| Job Description: | Job Description: Senior Test Analyst is required to conduct User Acceptance Testing for one of the workstreams of the Investment Platform program. The UAT team will comprise a mixture of testing contractors, permanent testing staff and business users. The role will report into the workstream Test Lead. •To plan, script and execute effective User Acceptance Testing to ensure software delivered meets operational and business requirements •To complete UAT in line with the project schedule and quality criteria •To take part in make-live implementation healthchecks •To work with Test lead, Test Manager, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Systems and Operational staff to achieve the UAT objectives •To lead workshops with project stakeholders to ensure test coverage is adequate •To coach and train business users in acceptance testing and to review test scripts for accuracy and completeness The role will suit an existing Senior Test Analyst or an experienced Test Analyst looking to move up. A proven track-record in User AcceptanceTesting for large projects in the financial sector, preferably for fund management administration software implementations, is essential. •Excellent information gathering, planning, organisational and communication skills •Excellent analytical and diagnostic skills •Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills •Excellent spelling and grammar skills •Drive, energy and enthusiasm with a ‘can do’ proactive approach •Timeliness, flexibility and resilience •Business focus •Accountability •Ability to build relationships •Full understanding of the software development lifecycle and software testing models Desirable Skills / Qualifications •Wrap platform testing experience such as Sonata, Rufus, Figaro or GFAS, •Other financial or banking administration system experience •Experience in working with third party vendors •Understanding of operational business processes and supporting software functions required for fund management •Experienced in the use of Quality Center for test and defect management •Knowledge of ISA, GIA and SIPP financial products •ISTQB FoundationTest Analyst certificate held |
